What Each Category Requires.

Sourcing needs differ by category. This is what matters most in each, so you can judge fit before submitting.

Category What we source What matters most

Tyre raw materialsRubber compounds, carbon black and steel cordConsistency to specification, with traceability to support ECE R54, DOT and BIS product approvals
Electronics & assembliesPCB assemblies, BMS electronics and control componentsRelevant safety and EMC compliance for the markets supplied, plus component-level traceability
PackagingCartons, pallets, protective materials and designBiodegradable and reusable options are preferred, in line with the stated waste reduction commitments

Sourcing With Precision & Trust

What We Expect

Supplier Standards, Stated Up Front.

Worth knowing before you apply. These requirements apply across categories, and they are the same standards the business holds itself to — each is documented in a published policy rather than left to interpretation.

Environmental & labour standards

Suppliers are assessed against environmental and labour standards before engagement and audited during it. Zero tolerance for child or forced labour applies across the chain, not only to direct employment — see the labour and human rights policy for the full position.

Read the policy

Documented chain of custody

For raw materials — lead above all — documented origin and handling is what distinguishes regulated recovery from informal operations. This is set out in the responsible supply chain policy.

Read the policy

Quality systems

Shared quality standards, joint audits and continuous improvement frameworks, consistent with the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems the business operates to. Consistency batch to batch matters more than a strong first sample.

Read the policy

Compliance documentation

Relevant certifications, environmental permits and waste handling records may be requested as part of due diligence, and again during periodic audit.

Common Questions

Supplying Us, Answered.

Standards, audits, material provenance and how to register.

What standards must a supplier meet?

Suppliers are assessed against environmental and labour standards before engagement and audited during it. In practice that covers where raw materials originate, whether workplace conditions meet international standards, whether child or forced labour exists anywhere in the chain, and whether environmental permits and waste handling are in order. Shared quality standards and joint audits apply alongside, consistent with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

What does the capability assessment involve?

Shortlisted vendors undergo a quality and capability audit, conducted either on site or document-based depending on category and location. It examines production capability and capacity, quality systems and records, material traceability, and compliance with labour and environmental requirements. Findings are discussed rather than simply pass or fail — vendor development support exists for capable suppliers with addressable gaps.

Do you source recycled lead?

Recovered lead requires substantially less energy than primary production and keeps material in circulation, which aligns with the circular economy commitments. The condition is provenance: documented chain of custody showing recovery through licensed, regulated operations. Informal smelting is a serious occupational and community health hazard, and chain-of-custody documentation is what allows the two to be told apart.

How long does vendor approval take?

It depends on category and on whether an on-site audit is required. The stages are consistent — enquiry, preliminary review, capability assessment, commercial negotiation, then onboarding into the ERP system and a first purchase order. Suppliers of regulated materials should expect a longer documentation stage than service or IT vendors.

How do I register as a vendor?

Submit an enquiry through the partner application form, selecting “Vendor / Supplier” as the partnership type and specifying your category and capabilities. Procurement enquiries can also be sent to support@tpuenergy.com, addressed to the procurement team at either the Delaware registered office or the Dubai EMEA office.

Are packaging and service suppliers considered?

Yes. Sourcing spans well beyond raw materials — packaging materials and design, logistics and freight services, IT and software, and facility management and industrial services are all active categories. For packaging in particular, biodegradable and reusable options are preferred in line with the stated waste reduction commitments.

Ready to Supply?

We're always looking for reliable vendors who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and long-term collaboration.
