LiON Max Wall Mounted UPS

Space-saving wall-mounted UPS with 100% pure sine wave output, fast recharge, and DSP-based control — uninterrupted power for homes, offices, and workspaces.

The Challenge

A Two-Second Outage Costs Twenty Minutes

Most power interruptions are brief. The disruption is not. A momentary dip restarts the router, the modem renegotiates its connection, the CCTV recorder stops recording and reboots, the set-top box reloads, and the POS terminal drops whatever transaction was in progress. A flicker lasting two seconds can cost twenty minutes of connectivity — and in a shop, an abandoned sale.

Running these devices from a full home inverter is an awkward answer. Converting battery DC up to 230V AC to feed a 10W router wastes a large share of the energy, and the inverter draws power continuously just being switched on. It is a large, floor-standing, often noisy solution to a very small load — and it still needs a separate battery.

LiON Max sizes the answer to the problem: a wall-mounted LiFePO4 unit in 36Wh, 60Wh or 120Wh, transferring in under 10 milliseconds so devices never notice, with 100% pure sine wave output and 12V DC and 5V USB outputs feeding low-voltage devices directly. Silent, no fan, no floor space, 3000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge and 80%+ capacity retained after a decade.

Selection Guide

How Long Will It Actually Run?

Runtime is capacity in watt-hours divided by the load in watts. These are indicative figures for planning — real runtime is slightly lower, since conversion is never perfectly efficient.

Typical setup Approx. load 36Wh 60Wh 120Wh
WiFi router only~10W~3–4 hrs~6 hrs~12 hrs
Router + modem or ONT~20W~1.5–2 hrs~3 hrs~6 hrs
Router + small CCTV setup~30W~1 hr~2 hrs~4 hrs
POS terminal + network~40W~45 min~1.5 hrs~3 hrs

Use the DC Output Where You Can

Most routers, modems and CCTV cameras actually run on 12V DC and use an adaptor to get there from mains. Feeding them 12V DC directly from the UPS skips two conversions, so more of the stored energy reaches the device and runtime improves over the same capacity used through an AC output.

Why Lithium for a Small UPS

A small UPS is cycled daily wherever outages are frequent, which is exactly the duty that exhausts a sealed lead-acid unit within a year or two. LiFePO4 rated 3000+ cycles at 80% DoD handles daily cycling for years, retains 80%+ capacity after a decade, and does it in a fraction of the weight and wall space.

Common Questions

Wall UPS, Answered.

Runtime, waveform, transfer time and sizing — the questions households and retailers ask most about the LiON Max wall mounted UPS.

How long will a wall UPS keep my router running?

Divide the capacity in watt-hours by the load in watts. A typical home WiFi router draws around 10W, so a 36Wh unit gives roughly 3 to 4 hours, a 60Wh unit around 6 hours, and a 120Wh unit around 12 hours. Adding a modem or an ONT roughly doubles the load and halves those figures. Real runtime is slightly lower than the arithmetic because conversion is never perfectly efficient, so treat the numbers as a planning guide.

Why use a small UPS instead of a home inverter for a router?

Efficiency and practicality. A home inverter converting battery DC to 230V AC to power a 10W router wastes a large share of the energy, and the inverter itself consumes power just idling. A wall UPS sized for the actual load, feeding 12V DC directly to a device that wants 12V DC, avoids that double conversion entirely. It also mounts on the wall beside the router, runs silently with no fan, and needs no separate battery.

What does pure sine wave mean, and does it matter here?

Mains electricity is a smooth sine wave. Cheaper backup units approximate it with a stepped or modified square wave, which some electronics tolerate poorly — causing buzzing, heat in adaptors and occasional failure. Pure sine wave output reproduces the mains waveform properly, so sensitive equipment behaves exactly as it would on mains. For always-on devices like routers, CCTV recorders and medical monitors, that matters.

What does transfer time under 10ms mean in practice?

It is how long the UPS takes to pick up the load when mains fails. Most electronics ride through a gap of that length without noticing, so under 10 milliseconds means a router does not reboot, a CCTV recorder does not drop its recording, and a POS terminal does not lose a transaction. Without a UPS, even a momentary flicker restarts these devices and takes minutes to recover.

Which capacity should I choose?

Work from the devices you want to keep alive. A single router suits the 36Wh model. A router plus modem or a small CCTV setup fits the 60Wh unit comfortably. Choose 120Wh for several devices together, longer outages, or where a POS terminal or medical device must stay up. All three use the same LiFePO4 cells rated 3000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge, with 80%+ capacity retained after a decade.

Can I distribute LiON Max wall UPS units in my country?

Yes. Tesla Power USA appoints distributors, wholesalers and importers by territory, with West Africa and East Africa currently prioritised — regions where frequent short outages make connectivity backup a mainstream retail product rather than a niche one. Retail partnerships, bulk pricing and branded co-selling are handled by the regional team.
